About
Short Experimental Film Sequence
Medium: Charcoal
Film created to be shown as part of Natasha Quinn's "Pareidolia", a creative and immersive art installation exploring our capacity to connect with our visual sense.
This is pareidolia examined through the lens of psychology and communicated via "Herman's Eyes", a gothic charcoal-based series of vignettes.
The film tells a fragmented story about a patient's experience with pareidolic illusions, flipping back and forth from first to third-person rememberings of a skewed reality.
Created using 600+ hand-drawn frames.
